Founded on 02nd September 2024 and officially registered on the 20th September 2024, the Jinja Tour Guides Association (JITOGA) is the official umbrella body uniting professional tourist guides in Jinja and the greater Busoga sub region of Uganda.

Located at the Source of the Nile; the heart of adventure tourism in East Africa, JITOGA exists to ensure that every visitor experiences Jinja through professionalism, safety, authenticity, and sustainability.
